This X-ray liquid level inspection machine performs non-contact level checks for cans and bottles with diameters of 20–120 mm. X-ray transmission produces receiver values that vary with liquid level, and the control system compares each value with set limits. Containers outside the limit are rejected by air blowing, a pusher, or diversion, selected according to the product and production requirement. An encoder tracks rejected containers, so reject position remains accurate after line pauses or speed changes. Conveyor speed is up to 1.3 m/s. Dynamic resolution is ±1.5 mm and static resolution is ±1 mm; foam and container movement affect dynamic results. The sealed stainless steel unit resists fog and water droplets. A 7-inch touchscreen supports operation and format changeover, while X-ray emission stops automatically during idle periods.

Detail

Operating frequency adjusts automatically, matching the production line's speed and downstream equipment. That keeps product transfer smooth and inspection performance stable through continuous operation, not just at ideal conditions.

PET, glass, aluminum, other compatible materials, across different sizes and shapes, all work here. Inspection and conveying components adjust with minimal effort, so changeover between product specs stays efficient rather than eating into production time.

The conveying and sorting system handles products smoothly, cutting down on collisions, friction, and surface scratches as they move through. Particularly useful for beverage bottles, cans, and other finished packages where appearance actually matters to the customer.

X-ray technology inspects liquid levels inside sealed containers, no opening, no contact with the product. Underfilled and overfilled containers get flagged as they pass through, which supports consistent filling quality and reliable online quality control.

A compact footprint means integration into existing lines takes minimal space. The inline configuration connects easily with upstream filling and capping equipment, and downstream labeling or packaging systems, without forcing a layout overhaul.

FAQ of X-Ray Liquid Level Inspection Machine
Q1. Which containers can this machine inspect?
The machine is designed for cans and bottles with diameters of 20–120 mm. Different container diameters and material densities may require different equipment configurations.
Q2. How does the machine determine whether the liquid level is acceptable?
The X-ray inspection system measures the received signal after X-rays pass through the container. The control system compares the measured value with the preset acceptance range and identifies containers outside that range.
Q3. What affects dynamic liquid-level detection results?
Foam and container movement can affect the result during dynamic inspection. The dynamic resolution is ±1.5 mm, while the static resolution is ±1 mm.
Q4. Will a line pause or speed change cause the wrong container to be rejected?
The rejection system uses encoder tracking to record the position of each unqualified container. This allows the machine to maintain reject timing when the line pauses or changes speed.
Q5. Which rejection method should I choose?
Air blowing, a pusher, or diversion can be selected according to the container type, product stability, and production requirement. The final rejection method should match the actual container and conveyor condition.
Q6. Does the machine emit X-rays continuously during idle time?
No. The machine automatically stops X-ray emission when it is idle. The equipment does not use isotope radiation sources.
Q7. What should be provided before selecting the inspection system?
Please provide the container sample, container diameter, product liquid level, production-line speed, and the expected rejection method. These details are needed to confirm the inspection configuration and reject solution.
